We're excited to introduce Elevate the Core, a global initiative created by members of FTC Team 24864, the Marian Mechanics. Its purpose is to help teams around the world recognize, celebrate, and strengthen the eight FIRST Core Values. What Is Elevate the Core?

Elevate the Core is a global initiative created by FTC Team 24864, The Marian Mechanics, with the mission of strengthening FIRST by bringing its eight Core Values to the forefront of every FTC team’s experience no matter where they are.

While many students who transition from FLL enter FTC are already familiar with the Core Values, others join the program for the first time during the high school level. These students often miss early exposure to values like Discovery, Inclusion, Innovation, and Gracious Professionalism that are embraced in FLL. Elevate the Core aims to close that gap ensuring that every FTC member, new or experienced, understands and grows through the Core Values that empower FIRST teams worldwide.
